From Pore to Darcy Scale Multiphase Flow in Porous Media: Upscaling from Pore To Darcy Scale
In multiphase flow in porous media the conceptual upscaling from the pore to the Darcy scale involves and intermediate length scale, the so-called "cluster scale" across which the visco-capillary force balance shifts from capillary to viscous dominated flow.
